10 Days Kenya & Tanzania Safari Itinerary: Day by Day Journey

Day 1 : Nairobi – Masai Mara (Approx. 4.5–5 hrs drive)

Morning departure from Nairobi around 7:00 AM. Scenic drive via the Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the viewpoint. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch.

Afternoon game drive (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM) in the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Overnight: Oldarpoi Camp or similar.

Day 2 : Full day in Masai Mara

Full-day safari with picnic lunch inside the reserve (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM). Explore the Mara River, predator sightings, and possibly the Great Migration (seasonal).

Optional visit to a nearby Masai Village in the late afternoon.

Overnight: Same as previous night.

Day 3 : Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru (Approx. 5 hrs drive)

Early morning departure (7:00 AM) with en route wildlife sightings. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge for hot lunch.

Afternoon game drive (4:00 PM) in Lake Nakuru National Park – known for flamingos, rhinos, and other big game.
