This historic farm was established by A.B. McDonell, one of the first individuals to grow and sell tea commercially in Kenya. Today, it remains a working tea farm and a tranquil retreat surrounded by lush gardens and indigenous forest.

    Your visit begins with a relaxed cup of tea or coffee as the hosts share the fascinating history of the farm and explain the process of tea production—from leaf to cup.
  • 🌱 Field Walk:
    Take a guided walk through the tea fields and enjoy a close-up look at how tea is grown and harvested.
  • 🐒 Wildlife Spotting:
    Explore the indigenous forest on the property, home to playful Colobus monkeys and a variety of birds and plants.
  • 🍽️ Farm Lunch:
    At 1:00 PM, enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch served on the veranda or in the garden, featuring fresh local ingredients and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
