Nairobi National Park

“The World’s only Wildlife Capital”

A short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Visitors can enjoy the park’s picnic sites, three campsites and the walking trails for hikers.

On this 3 days, 2 nights safari to Masai Mara, the tour starts and finishes in Nairobi, the safari capital city.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

You will be received by your driver guide early in the morning for your safari departure. Stop at the escapement for toilet, photos, a cup of tea or coffee then proceeded to Masai Mara. Arrive on time for lunch at camp or lodge. Afternoon game drive from 15h30 till sunset. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara

Grab this memorable experience by taking a hot air balloon safari with a bush breakfast at extra cost. Later proceed with a game drive in the park destination Mara river with picnic lunch. Return to camp or lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Enjoy your last game drive in this famous wildlife paradise after your early morning breakfast at camp or lodge. Around 11h30, check out from park and drive to Nairobi with lunch on the way. Arrive in Nairobi at the end of the day.

2 Days, 1 Night Masai Mara Road Safari from Nairobi

Masai Mara is world’s popular tourist destination and famous for its annual wildebeest migration, its big five, diverse and abundant wildlife species, beautiful dotted savannah plains.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

Meet by our representative in Nairobi early morning for your departure for Masai Mara with a stop over at the escapement, Rift Valley.

Arrive in Masai Mara by mid day. Check in at camp or lodge for lunch.

Around 15h30, depart for a game drive in the park till sunset.

Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Nairobi

After you early morning breakfast, leave around 6h45 for a long game drive in the park which leads to visit Talek river where hippos and crocos are in huge numbers.

Enjoy your picnic lunch taken under a shady tree in the savanna plains.

Later drive to Nairobi expecting to reach by late in the day.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Masai Mara Game Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya which is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.

There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.

Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Wildlife

The Mara is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the World. There is an excellent chance of seeing the Big 5, cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck, oribi, reed-buck, zebra.

Wildebeest Migration – Happens every year around July to October starting from Tanzania’s Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara where wildebeests, Zebra among other grazers travel in search of pastures.

Amboseli National Park

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.  They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

Tsavo West National Park

From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs  to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness.

The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below.

Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Tsavo East National Park

Theatre of the Wild

Tsavo East National Park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust–red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.

4 Days, 3 Nights; Masai Mara & Lake Naivasha Safari

Safari tour starts from Nairobi heads to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha’s Crescent Island, finishes at Hell’s Gate National Park and heads back to Nairobi.

Masai Mara is world’s popular tourist destination and famous for its annual wildebeest migration, its big five, diverse and abundant wildlife species, beautiful dotted savannah plains.

Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake in the Great Rift Valley with lots of bird life and small game – Common Waterbuck, Giraffe, Zebra, Impala and Buffalo. Attractions near Lake Naivasha are the Crescent Island, Hell’s Gate National Park and Mt. Longonot.

Itinerary

 Day 1. Nairobi-Masai Mara

Pick up early morning from airport or your hotel in Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley.

There shall be a stop at the View Point of Rift Valley for photography. Proceed with the safari to Masai Mara to arrive on time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp.

Afternoon game drive from 15h45 till sunset in search of the big five – Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino with other wild animals.

Dinner and overnight stay at your safari lodge/tented camp.

Day 2. Masai Mara

After your breakfast, leave with picnic lunch for a full day game viewing in the park including a visit to Mara river.

On your way back, possibility to visit Masai village at extra cost.

Dinner and overnight stay at your safari lodge/tented camp.

Day 3. Masai Mara- Lake Naivasha

After your early morning breakfast, check out from lodge or camp with an exit wildlife viewing drive as we proceed for Lake Naivasha.

Arrive on time for hot lunch at Naivasha Sopa Lodge. After lunch, take a boat ride to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamus.

Tour shall be followed by the Crescent Island for a guided walking safari.

Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Common Waterbuck and Buffalo. 

Return to Naivhasa Sopa lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4. Hell’s Gate National Park – Nairobi

After breakfast, we head over to Hell’s Gate National Park for bicycle ride. You can also opt to walk or drive on your safari mini bus.

Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya that can be explored by foot or cycle. Resident wildlife are Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Warthog and Buffalo. 

A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebra and Giraffe is a beautiful experience. 

We shall head to the Hell’s Gate Gorge where our tour guide will give us stories of the gorge and help us trek.

After trekking the gorge, we shall head back to Nairobi with lunch en-route. 

Arrive Nairobi approximately 16:30hrs and drop off to your Nairobi hotel.
