10 Days Kenya And Tanzania (Cocktail Expedition)

Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Mount Kenya, Samburu, Nairobi, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara

Note: For those taking early morning flight the following day, the company will organize a game meat dinner at the famous Carnival restaurant in the city. Otherwise dinner and overnight will be in the same Hotel for those clients with alternative program after this safari.

This is a nine nights ten days Kenya Tanzania expedition safari that departs and ends at Nairobi Airport  for a tour of Kenya to experience the wonders of this beautiful countryside then continue to Tanzania to see the cradle of Mankind.

 Day 1 Nairobi – Mara:

Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive to Masai Mara stopping at Narok for lunch.  Arrive in Mara with game en-route to Sarova Mara Camp for dinner and overnight

Day 2 Masai Mara:

Spend the day in the park and visit Mara river. Picnic lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Mara –L. Nakuru:

After breakfast leave Mara with game en-route and arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge at L. Nakuru for lunch.  Afternoon game drive to see the bird life and the common White Rhinos of this park.  Dinner and overnight.

Day 4  L. Nakuru – Samburu:

Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive to Samburu Lodge for lunch.  Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Samburu:

Spend the day exploring this semi-arid park to see its rare species of animals like the Reticulated Giraffe and the Grevy’s Zebra.  All meals, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6 Samburu – Mt. Kenya:

After breakfast leave Samburu and drive to Naro–moru River Lodge for lunch.  Afternoon at relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Mt. Kenya  – Nairobi:

After early breakfast leave to Ol-Pejeta private ranch and visit the adopted Chimpanzee park to see these creatures which are 98% human brain.  Tour this private sanctuary and visit a resident Rhino-Morani including other plains game before stopping for lunch in Nanyuki Town.  Later drive to Nairobi arriving late in the day for dinner and overnight at Hotel Bounty.

Day 8 Nairobi–Namanga –L. Manyara:

Leave Nairobi after early breakfast and drive to Namanga and take a connection four- wheel drive vehicle and drive to Arusha for lunch.  After lunch proceed to L. Manyara for game en-route, dinner and overnight at L. Manyara lodge.

Day 9 L. Manyara – Ngorongoro:

After breakfast drive to Ngoro – Ngoro crater and descend some 2000ft for full day game viewing with picnic lunch.  Dinner and overnight at Ngoro-Ngoro Crater Lodge.

Day 10 Ngoro-Ngoro – Arusha – Nairobi:

After breakfast drive to Arusha for lunch.  Afternoon proceed to Namanga and connect your safari van for your onward transfer to Hotel Bounty to prepare for your transfer back to the Airport.

Au départ de Nairobi et retour sur Nairobi

Massaï Mara, Lac Nakuru, Mont Kenya, Samburu, Nairobi, Ngorongoro et Lac Manyara.

1er Jour: Nairobi – Massaï Mara

Accueil par votre chauffeur-guide puis départ pour la réserve de Massaï Mara. Installation et déjeuner au Mara Sentrim Camp ou similaire. Safari-photo dans l’après-midi de 16h à 18h30. Dîner et nuit au Mara Sentrim Camp ou similaire.

2ème Jour : Massaï Mara

Après le petit déjeuner, départ toute la journée pour un safari-photo & pique-nique et visite de la rivière Mara. Visite d’un village Massaï. Dîner et nuit au camp.

3ème Jour : Massaï Mara – Lac Nakuru

Après le petit déjeuner, départ pour Lake Nakuru Lodge avec un safari-photo en route. Installation et déjeuner. L’après-midi, safari-photo en cherchant les flamants roses, différentes espèces d’oiseaux ainsi que les rhinos blanc. Dîner et nuit au Lake Nakuru Lodge.

4ème Jour : Lac Nakuru – Samburu

Après le petit déjeuner, départ pour la réserve de Samburu. Installation et déjeuner au Ashnil Samburu Camp. Dans l’après-midi, safari-photo de 16h à 18h30. Dîner et nuit au Camp.

5ème Jour : Samburu

Après le petit déjeuner, on profite de cette réserve un peu aride et de ces espèces rares, notamment les girafes tachetées de jaune et les zèbres de Grevy. Dîner et nuit au Ashnil Samburu Camp.

6ème Jour : Samburu – Mont Kenya

Après le petit déjeuner, en route pour le Mont Kenya, à 5’199 m. (le deuxième plus grand sommet d’Afrique après le Kilimandjaro). Arrivée au Naro Moru River Lodge ou similaire. Installation et déjeuner. L’après-midi est libre, dîner et nuit sur place.

7ème Jour : Mont Kenya – Nairobi

Tôt dans la matinée, safari-photo. Retour au lodge pour le petit déjeuner. Après le petit déjeuner, départ pour Nairobi. Déjeuner en ville Nanyuki. Arrivée dans l’après-midi à l’Hôtel Boulevard ou équivalent. Dîner et nuit.

8ème Jour : Nairobi – Namanga -Lac Manyara

Après le petit déjeuner tôt le matin, départ pour Namanga ou vous allez changer de vehicule, 4×4, pour Arusha. Déjeuner puis on continue pour la réserve du Lac Manyara avec un safari-photo en route pour Lake Manyara Lodge. Dîner et nuit.

9ème Jour : Lac Manyara – Ngorongoro

Après le petit déjeuner, départ pour Ngorongoro Crater, descendre à 2’000 pieds pour un safari-photo + pique nique toute la journée. Dîner et nuit au Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

10ème Jour : Ngorongoro – Arusha – Nairobi

Après le petit déjeuner, départ pour Arusha, déjeuner, puis route jusqu’à Namanga ou votre véhicule vous attend pour le transfert de Nairobi à votre hotel Boulevard ou équivalent ou bien vers l’aéroport.
